The illustrative world for this Burger King campaign was built during the height of Covid, when the brand needed to feel closer, braver and more human than ever. We developed a fresh visual language with a slightly cheeky, streetwise edge — playful but never careless — balancing bold character and warmth while staying true to Burger King’s unmistakable DNA. The illustrations brought energy to a difficult moment, celebrating small pleasures, everyday resilience and the joy of flavour, all with a confident wink. It was a world designed to make people smile behind their masks, reminding them that even in a pandemic, the flame-grilled spirit was still very much alive.
